PR06. Understand and apply legislative acts, regulatory and reference materials, organizational management documentation on the organization and management of horticulture, knowledge of economics and law to ensure effective production activities.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know:
• economic foundations of the organization of production in horticulture;
• the essence and content of the main economic categories;
• ways to increase the efficiency of the functioning of horticulture enterprises;
• scientific foundations of multi-purpose use of resources and ways to increase production efficiency;
• methods of economic justification of economic measures for making management decisions.
2. Be able to:
• perform technical and economic calculations and, on their basis, analyze alternative options to select optimal solutions.
3. Have skills in working with consolidated information, namely,
receive and analyze information from various sources and systematically integrate different types of information resources, form a final information product that would meet scientific requirements and management needs for resolving/preventing contradictions in various economic practices of the functioning of a horticulture enterprise.
Course content
The educational discipline "Economics of horticulture and park management" is a component of the professional training program for specialists of the educational level "Bachelor" in the specialty "206 "Horticulture and Park Management". The discipline is mandatory, which highlights the theoretical and applied issues of the functioning of the horticulture enterprise.

3. Abstract papers on the economics of horticulture – 10 points / 5 points
4. Compilation, design and presentation of a case on the development of horticulture - 10 points / 5 points
5. Evaluation of oral answers / additions – 10 points / 5 points
