Learning outcomes
PRN5. To possess at the operational level methods of observation, description, identification, classification, cultivation of ornamental plants and plant garden and park groups, maintaining their decorativeness, stability and stability in the conditions of a complex green zone of the city. PRN07. PRN16. Based on in-depth knowledge of natural sciences, to form an idea of ​​​​the preservation of biological diversity to increase productivity, increase stability and ecological plasticity of artificial phytocenoses and natural ecosystems in modern urban landscapes under global climate change. PRN17. To model and develop projects of landscaping, garden and park management, landscape architecture and design of the external environment using modern information technologies to ensure a comfortable human existence in an urbanized space.

1. Кnow the main types of plant groups of Ukraine, the main types of soils of Ukraine, the basics color science and three-dimensional composition. 2. Be able to perform landscape assessment. 3. Have the skills to work in AutoCAD, SkechUp, TwiLight.
Course content
The discipline "Garden and park compositions" is a selective discipline, which consists of information on the criteria for assessing the aesthetic appeal of the territory for the creation of garden and park facilities, principles and methods of developing spatial solutions for garden and park facilities, methods of creating artificial attractive landscapes on landscaping. The study of the discipline lays the foundation for the use in the country's horticultural economy of advanced technologies for the design of garden and park facilities of various scales and purposes based on the achievements of landscape design.
