Learning outcomes
PR01. Be able to apply modern mathematical methods to solve practical problems related to the research and design of biotechnological processes. Use knowledge of physics to analyze biotechnological processes.
PR04. Be able to apply the provisions of regulatory documents that regulate the procedure for product certification, production certification, requirements for the organization of quality management systems at enterprises, rules for drawing up technical documentation and conducting a technological process, based on the knowledge obtained during practical training.
PR25. Be able to create biotechnological production, taking into account the achievements of modern sciences and methodologies.
PR28. Be able to apply knowledge to create laboratories for the development of biotechnological products of various origins.
PR 32. Be able to apply methods and approaches for conducting safe and effective research
of potential biotechnological molecules of various origins.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Mastering the rules on which the principles of organizing modern biotechnology laboratories are based.
2. Knowledge of the basic principles of basic biological methods.
3. Ability to use specialized laboratory equipment and/or reagents to conduct experimental research in the biotechnology field in order to solve a specific scientific and practical problem.
4. Possess elementary skills in the targeted use of laboratory equipment and/or reagents.
5. Possess elementary skills in planning and conducting experimental research in a certain field of biology in order to solve a specific scientific and practical problem.
6. Possess sanitary and epidemiological rules for working in a biotechnology laboratory. Become familiar with the biotechnology laboratory and its main equipment.
Course content
The discipline is a free choice of the student (choice in blocks) and covers the issues of organization of modern biotechnology laboratories. The discipline is designed to provide the opportunity for the student to master the skills of planning and conducting experimental work using various methods and methodological techniques to solve a specific scientific and practical problem.
