PR23. Be able to use in production and social activities the fundamental concepts and categories of state formation to substantiate their own worldviews and political beliefs, taking into account the processes of socio-political history of Ukraine, legal principles and ethical norms.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Possession of elementary skills of system analysis, scientific research and information management, use of informative sources. Ability to collect and interpret information on political processes; be able to apply basic terms, categories of analysis of socio-political phenomena and processes.
Course content
The academic discipline introduces students to politics as a social phenomenon, theoretical knowledge and form of activity, the evolution of political knowledge, the essence and classification of political systems. The course is aimed at developing skills in using the conceptual and methodological tools of sociological science to analyze and determine the specifics of socio-political knowledge; studying socio-political realities, norms of socio-political behavior, socio-political values.
