Course content
Immunology is a medical and biological science that studies the structure and all aspects
functioning of the body's immune system. Academic discipline
"Immunology" covers the structure and basic functions of the immune system:
maintenance of homeostasis of the internal environment of the body and regulatory. IN
the course of lectures studies cellular and humoral factors of immune reactivity,
mechanisms of formation of innate and adaptive immune resistance,
pathological immune reactions and means of monitoring the immune response. Special
attention is paid to modern aspects of the theory of activation of the immune response,
trigger factors of metabolic polarization of immune effector cells.
A review of modern immunological research methods and
applied aspects of immunology (immunodiagnostics, immunoprophylaxis,
immunotherapy).
