Learning outcomes
PR07. To be able to apply knowledge of the composition and structure of cells of various biological agents to determine the optimal conditions of cultivation and the potential use of the studied cells in biotechnology.
PR10. To be able to conduct experimental studies to determine the effect of physicochemical and biological environmental factors on the vital activity of cells of living organisms.
PR11. Be able to perform basic genetic and cytological studies to improve and enhance the biosynthetic capacity of biological agents, taking into account the principles of biosafety, biosecurity and bioethics (induced mutagenesis using physical and chemical mutagenic factors, selection and accumulation of auxotrophic mutants, etc.).

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastery of the academic disciplines "Cell Biology", "Fundamentals of Ecology", "Inorganic Chemistry".
2. Ability to independently apply knowledge of cell biology, ecology, bioorganic chemistry and other academic disciplines to solve specific scientific and practical problems; work with scientific and scientific and methodological literature.
3. Possession of basic skills of systems analysis.
Course content
"Biology of individual development" is a mandatory discipline that covers the general patterns and mechanisms of ontogenetic transformations of organisms of different taxonomic groups of animals, especially their course under different influences of environmental factors, normal and pathology; features of microscopic and submicroscopic organization of animal organisms groups at different stages of embryogenesis, and outlines a range of methods and methodological approaches that can be used in conducting research in related sciences and in interdisciplinary projects and which require in-depth knowledge of the biology of individual development.
