PR03. Plan, execute, analyze data and present the results experimental research in the field of biology PR05. Demonstrate assessment skills unpredictable biological problems and deliberate choice of ways to solve them PR09. Follow the provisions of the biological ethics, rules of biological safety and biological protection during training and professional activity. PR19. Argue the choice of methods, planning and implementation algorithms field, laboratory, clinical laboratory research, including mathematical methods and software support for conducting research, processing and presentation of results.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of lecture and practical/seminar/laboratory material classes in compulsory academic subjects, which are taught to students of education "Bachelor" level. 2. Successful mastering of the material of educational disciplines of selective blocks or educational components according to the selected block of professionally oriented disciplines. 3. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of biochemistry, genetics, cytology and histology, zoology, botany, microbiology, virology, physiology, biophysics, etc. 4. Knowledge of basic principles of basic biological research methods. 5. Possession of basic skills in the use of laboratory equipment and reagents for conducting experimental research in a certain field of biology. 6. Possession of basic skills of analytical evaluation of results studies obtained during the experiment.
Course content
Internship in biology is a mandatory educational component of the educational and professional program "Biology", the purpose of which is to consolidate and deepen the theoretical knowledge obtained by the student, as well as to acquire the necessary skills and competencies for conducting experimental research in various branches of biological science. During the internship, the student acquires practical skills for working in research laboratories and enterprises, gets acquainted with the principles and algorithms for planning and conducting experimental research, criteria for evaluating, processing and presenting the results obtained. The structure of industrial practice depends on the content of practical training in a certain professionally oriented block and ensures the performance of the main professional functions of those positions for which a student can apply after obtaining the appropriate educational degree. Practical training of education seekers is carried out taking into account the competency-based approach on the bases of practice of the National Scientific Center "Institute of Biology and Medicine", in scientific institutions, at enterprises, in organizations, in higher education institutions of Ukraine and other countries
