Course content
The academic discipline "Laboratory Practical Course in Microbiology" is a component of the educational program for professional training of specialists at the "Bachelor" educational level. The discipline is a basic discipline that covers the methods of detection, isolation, identification, storage and cultivation of soil, industrially important, sanitary-indicative microorganisms. Methods and methodical methods of selection of the optimal cultivation medium and determination of kinetic parameters of growth are considered. Much attention is paid to identifying the main structural elements of pro- and eukaryotic cells.
The course is designed to summarize the student's understanding of the basic methods of working with biological objects of different levels of organization (from whole organisms and their populations), as well as provide students with mastering skills of planning and conducting experimental work using different methods and techniques to solve specific scientific and practical tasks.
