identification of non-cellular forms of life, prokaryotes and eukaryotes, etc
apply them to solve specific biological problems
tasks
PR12. Demonstrate knowledge of the structure, processes of vital activity and functions of living organisms, understand the mechanisms of regulation of physiological functions to maintain homeostasis of biological systems.
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. 1. Know the basics of botany, general cytology, biochemistry, molecular biology within the framework of mandatory disciplines and educational practices taught in previous years of study.
2. To be able - to be able to recognize algae objects at the level of departments, to use professional determinants of biological objects
3. Have basic PC skills at the level of an experienced user.
Course content
The discipline "Algology" is a component of the block of professionally oriented disciplines "Plant Biology". The discipline is a classical biological discipline that deals with a holistic view of biodiversity, techniques for identifying algal objects by complexes of phenotypic traits, analysis of local algae systems in different departments, forming ideas about the distribution and importance of algae in nature and human life.
