Course content
The elective course "Special Histology" is a component of the cycle of professional training of specialists with the educational degree "Bachelor" under the educational program "Biology". The discipline is a basic histological discipline that covers the issues of microscopic structure at the tissue, cellular and subcellular levels, development and vital activity of individual organs and systems, patterns of morpho-functional changes in organs when their physiological status changes, which is the object of activity of a wide range of histologists, as well as methods and techniques of histological research, which can be used when conducting experiments in related sciences and within the framework of interdisciplinary projects and which require in-depth knowledge of histology. The discipline is designed to create a basis of morphological knowledge necessary for the successful mastery of other medical and biological disciplines, as well as for the development of correct ideas about the pathogenesis and morphogenesis of diseases.
