Learning outcomes
PLO4. Conduct neuropsychological assessment, correction, and rehabilitation of cognitive and psycho-emotional disorders, and develop prognoses for patient recovery and adaptation.
PLO5. Develop and implement neuropsychological intervention programs for individual and group sessions, and evaluate their effectiveness using evidence-based methods.
PLO9. Resolve ethical dilemmas in neuropsychological practice based on legal standards, ethical principles, and universal human values, considering the specifics of working with patients with neurological and mental disorders
PLO15. Develop criteria and performance indicators for neuropsychological interventions, apply them to evaluate professional tasks, and formulate recommendations for improving counseling and rehabilitation programs.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the basics of evolutionary psychology, neuropsychology of conscious and unconscious mental processes, CNS anatomy and physiology of HND.
Have the skills of scientific research, search, processing and analysis of information from various sources, the use of information and communication technologies.
Course content
The course "Neuropsychology of Emotions and Embodiment" is part of the mandatory curriculum for the students. Mastering this course provides students with fundamental knowledge of the core constructs and principles of affective neuroscience. It teaches them to understand the primary operational principles of neural networks associated with emotion and motivation. The course introduces both classical and contemporary approaches to studying the neuropsychological mechanisms of emotions, as well as methods for examining the bodily component of emotions. Teaching methods for the course include: lectures, seminars, practical sessions, reports, and independent study.

Semester assessment: evaluated answers and additions at seminar classes, analytical essay.
The score is formed as the sum of all points scored during the semester.
Oral response – from 12 to 20 points.
Supplements – from 6 to 10 points.
Analytical essay – from 24 to 40 points.
Organization of evaluation:
0-59 – not counted, 60-100 standings.
