Human microbial ecology is a science that studies the composition and functions of the natural microbiota of different human habitats, the relationship of endogenous microbiota with
macroorganism and the environment, as well as the relationship between the individual components of microbial coenoses in normal and in pathology. In the course of lectures
the types of relationships between microorganisms and macroorganisms, microbiota of the digestive tract, skin, vaginal habitat are studied. Particular attention is paid to the formation of microbiota in ontogenesis and the importance of maintaining its normal physiological state. The etiological aspects of its violation, as well as means and methods of their prevention and therapy are considered. Review and development of methods for studying the state of the microbiota of the digestive tract in normal and in various pathological conditions of non-infectious origin.
