Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastery of the scientific, theoretical and practical material of the academic discipline "Social Medicine with Fundamentals of Pedagogy" involves integration with the disciplines: methodology and organization of scientific research with the basics of intellectual property, information technologies in medicine and the basics of statistical analysis, quality management system for laboratory research, evidence-based medicine and standards for laboratory research, demographic epidemiology, internal medicine with evaluation of research results, pediatrics with evaluation of research results, surgery with evaluation of research results, infectious diseases with evaluation of research results, hygiene with hygienic examination, and the basics of epidemiology.
Course content
The discipline "Social Medicine with Fundamentals of Pedagogy" includes information on the content and objectives of the sciences of social medicine and pedagogy, the organization, conduct and processing of the results of statistical research in healthcare and in educational institutions, the state of population health, the organization of the provision of various types of medical care to the population of Ukraine, the features of raising children of different ages. The subject of study of the academic discipline is: population health, methods of conducting scientific research in healthcare and in educational institutions, the procedure for calculating and assessing the performance indicators of medical institutions, the organization of the provision of various types of medical care to the population of Ukraine.
