Learning outcomes
PR7. Have the skills to work independently and as a leader, to obtain results in a limited time with an emphasis on professional integrity when growing ornamental plants, designing, creating and operating horticultural facilities. PR9. Design and organize activities for growing planting material of ornamental woody plants in open and closed soil and form horticultural facilities in accordance with modern scientific methods and customer requirements. PR10. Design and organize activities for growing planting material of ornamental herbaceous and flower plants in open and closed soil and form horticultural facilities in accordance with modern scientific methods and customer requirements. PR 17. Present, model and develop projects for landscaping, horticultural facilities, landscape architecture and environmental design using the latest technologies and graphic presentation techniques.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basics of fine arts 2. Know the basics of color science and three-dimensional composition 3. Be able to use computer programs SketchUp, AutoCAD, TwiLight 4. Be able to prepare the graphic part of project documentation. 5. Be able to perform area measurements and landscape taxation. 6. Know the basics of the history of landscape art.
Course content
The course is devoted to the issues of theory and practice of designing modern garden and park facilities and introduces students to a set of basic design works, such as information collection, its analysis, functional zoning, development of a master plan, and project presentation. The course is based on practical work on a project of a square in the center of Kyiv or a private plot of the student's choice. At the beginning of the course, the main standards and norms that regulate work on a project for the improvement of modern territories are considered, attention is paid to the regulatory framework for design. In addition to acquiring new knowledge and skills, students deepen their already acquired knowledge and skills in creating design documentation, using AutoCAD and SketchUp programs in working on a project, using graphic means of fine arts, and are familiar with the use of the TwiLight visualizer in the process of finalizing the architectural image of the created object.

Presentation of the 3rd stage of the project. PH 1.2, 2.2, 3.1 - 40 points / 20 points 4. Presentation of the 4th stage of the project (defense of the project).
