            Course content

Viral cytopathology studies the patterns of changes in cell structure and function during the penetration and development of infectious and oncogenic viruses, which can help reveal the mechanisms of pathological processes, as well as solve problems of diagnosis, prevention and treatment.
Knowledge of the cytopathology of viral infections is important not only in terms of the fundamental discipline of "Virology", but also purely applied problems in medicine, biotechnology, genetic and cellular engineering, ecology and agriculture.
