PR01. Understand the social and economic consequences of the introduction of the latest developments in the field of biology in professional activities.
PR09. Comply with the provisions of biological ethics, rules of biological safety and biological protection in the process of education and professional activities.
PR16. Know the structure and functions of the immune system, cellular and molecular mechanisms of immune reactions, their regulation, genetic control; types of immunity and methods for assessing the immune status of the organism.
PR17. Understand the role of the evolutionary idea of the organic world.
PR29.11. Develop recommendations for optimizing the functional state of a person.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the general philosophical theories about morality and ethics, about the inseparable unity of all living things on earth.
2. Be able to theoretically substantiate the practice of using animals in various fields of human activity.
3. Have basic skills of ethical treatment of domestic and laboratory animals.
Course content
The basis of the discipline "Moral and ethical principles of natural research" are bio- and ecocentric approaches and rules for the use in experimental research of highly organized animals that have the ability to feel pain and suffering, ethics and morals arising from modern advances in genetic engineering, organ transplantation , in vitro fertilization, abortion and euthanasia.
