            Course content

"Human Genetics" includes the study of inheritance and variability of normal and pathological traits of man. In studying general aspects, attention is paid to the shortcomings and preferences of man as a genetic object, methods used in human genetics, human genome organization, patterns of inheritance of mendelian and multifactorial traits, selected issues of developmental genetics, genetics of behavior and intelligence, genetic aspects of evolution and distribution species Homo sapiens sapiens. In acquaintance with the basics of medical genetics, the classification of hereditary diseases, molecular mechanisms of pathological conditions in the manifestation of hereditary diseases, the basics of oncogenetics and genetics of mental illness are considered.
