1. Successful mastering of the academic disciplines "Botany", "Plant Physiology", "Educational practice with botany and zoology", "Fundamentals of ecology and nature conservation", "Biochemistry", "Molecular biology", "Foreign language" and knowledge of the basics of morphology, anatomy, physiology, systematics of plants and basic principles and rules botanical nomenclature within the framework of normative and special disciplines and field practices that were taught in the previous years of study. 2. The ability to identify botanical objects in the volume determined by normative disciplines that were taught in previous years of study; to work with scientific and scientific-methodical literature. 3. Possession of basic skills in using keys to determine taxa of different ranks and system analysis skills.

The discipline "Archegoniates" is part of the student's free choice cycle. The discipline is a basic botanical discipline that allows to form an idea of ​​the place of higher spore and gymnosperms in the organic world and the most modern classification systems of these objects, their origin and phylogenetic relationships, structural and taxonomic diversity, role and importance for sustainable development nature and society, current trends and directions of basic scientific and applied research in the field of taxonomy of archegonia and related sciences. Its place in the system of other biological disciplines is most consistent with the concept of plants as a material for diverse biological research, similar to animals in zoology, and bacteria and viruses in microbiology and virology, respectively.
