Have basic skills in using specialized computer programs to present data in text format, search and analyze information in specialized journals and the Internet.
Course content
"General entomology" is a discipline of free choice of students, the relevance of which is due to the role played by insects in nature and human life. During the study of this discipline students have the opportunity to get acquainted with the largest group of living organisms on Earth, learn about the structure and functioning of the insect body, find out the causes of biological progress of this group, determine the role of insects in ecosystems and human life. entomological research. The relevance of the study of this discipline is also determined by the need and importance of students' understanding of the causes and ways of insect adaptations to terrestrial life, the role of miniaturization and flight in insect evolution, the formation of close symbiotic relationships between plants and insects. The theoretical core of the discipline "General Entomology" such sciences as anatomy, morphology, general zoology, ecology.
