PRN 02. Apply modern information technologies, software and Internet resources to provide information support for professional activities. PRN 03. Plan, perform, analyze data and present the results of experimental research in the field of biology PRN 06. Apply models, methods and data of physics, chemistry, ecology, mathematics in the process of learning and ensuring professional activities. PRN 09. Comply with the provisions of biological ethics, rules of biological safety and biological protection in the process of learning and professional activities. PRN 19. Apply in practical activities methods for determining the structural and functional characteristics of biological systems at different levels of organization.

1. Know the characteristic anatomical-morphological, histological, physiological, biological and ecological features of Animalia. 2. Be able to independently apply knowledge from the courses "General Cytology", "Zoology", "Biochemistry", "Genetics", "Physiology and Anatomy of Humans and Animals" to solve specific scientific problems. 3. Possess basic skills in using specialized computer programs to present data in text and tabular formats, search for and analyze information in specialized professional journals and the Internet.

The academic discipline "Laboratory Practical Course in Animal Biology (Part 1)" is an academic discipline of the elective block "Animal Biology", which is a component of the educational and professional program "Biology" for the training of specialists of the first (bachelor's) educational level in the specialty 091 Biology. In laboratory practical classes, students have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the modern methodology for organizing scientific research in animal biology in accordance with the tasks set, as well as to acquire skills in planning, conducting, and analytically evaluating the results obtained. As a result of mastering this course, applicants will gain basic skills in conducting experiments using animals, principles of searching for scientific information for analyzing and comparing the results obtained, and the ability to present research results in printed and presentation form. The methods and techniques of mastered laboratory research can be applied in related interdisciplinary research.
