Learning outcomes
Achievement by students of such competencies, in particular, as: the ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources in law enforcement; the ability to generate new ideas (creativity) in the preparation of legal documents; Ability to analyze and evaluate the impact of legal
European Union systems on the legal system of Ukraine in the field of civil law; the ability to justify and motivate legal decisions, to give detailed legal argumentation when solving incidents from civil law.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the literature on legal techniques, acts of civil law governing civil relations and the practice of resolving civil disputes;
Be able to assess and give a legal description of individual civil relations;
Have basic skills in drafting lawsuits, claims, applications to international commercial arbitration and other documents, taking into account the specifics of the practical situation and using legal methods to resolve various disputes.
Course content
Forms of teaching and methods of teaching this discipline are aimed at conducting an in-depth legal analysis of the provisions of civil law, gaining students practical skills in solving real life situations, their correct legal interpretation, and developing proposals for improving current legislation. The course of the academic discipline provides for intensive study by students of civil law problems when comparing its provisions with the relevant provisions of civil laws and doctrines of other developed countries, as well as its interaction with international legal norms.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, self-study work of the student on the basis of textbooks, abstracts, methodical recommendations, consultations with the teacher.
Assessment methods and criteria
At the seminars, the current control of the student's knowledge in the academic discipline includes: performance in the classroom - from 6 to 8 points; addition to the performance - from 6 to 8 points; significant questions to the speakers (discourse) - from 5 to 8 points; reports and scientific works - from 5 to 8 points; solving the incident - from 2 to 8 points.
Subject to evaluation: the level of knowledge demonstrated in the answer; activity in discussing issues; systematic work in the classroom; homework results.
Seminar classes missed for valid reasons a student can work
A student who has not reached the minimum threshold level of assessment (24 points) of those learning outcomes that cannot be assessed during the final control may not be allowed to final assessment.
final assessment: exam (in the form of an interview with the possible use of information and communication technologies) (maximum score - 60).
