Learning outcomes
PRN 11. Determine and critically evaluate the state and trends of socio-economic development, form and analyze models of economic systems and processes. PRN 12. Justify management decisions regarding the effective development of business entities, taking into account goals, resources, limitations and risks. PRN 14. Develop scenarios and strategies for the development of socio-economic systems. PRN 18. Use modern educational and research technologies in the field of economics. PRN 20. Choose and analyze optimal economic and mathematical models at the micro and macro levels. PRN 22. Apply information about the latest phenomena and processes of socio-economic development of society to form new judgments and knowledge

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know: the basic concepts of macroeconomics, the main macroeconomic markets, the essence of the macroeconomic model of the circulation of income and expenses, the principle of its construction, the Keynesian cross model, IS-LM-BP, AD-AS models, etc. 2. To have the basic methods of scientific research used in macroeconomics and the skills of macroeconomic analysis.
Course content
The program of the academic discipline consists of two content modules: Content module 1. "Modern approaches to the theory of economic growth and modeling of private sector demand", which examines exogenous and endogenous models of economic growth, models of the real business cycle, models of consumption and inter-temporal optimization, investment models. Content module 2. "Modern approaches to modeling inflation, unemployment and macroeconomic policy", which examines models of the labor market, inflation, unemployment and hyperinflation and fiscal policy.

Assessment methods and criteria
- semester assessment (max. points 60 / min. points 36): 1. Calculation tasks – 10 points / 5 points; 2. Analytical tasks – 10 points / 5 points; 3. Modular control work (2MKR) - 20 points / 12 points; 4. Independent analytical work - calculated individual task - 20 points / 14 points. - final assessment in the form of an exam A student is not allowed to take the exam if he received less than 36 points during the semester. If the student's grade on the exam is lower than the minimum threshold level (24 points), then the points for the exam are not added to the semester grade (they are considered equal to zero), and the final grade in the discipline is unsatisfactory.
