Learning outcomes
PLO 1. Formulate, analyze and synthesize solutions scientific and practical problems. PLO 2. Develop, substantiate, and make effective decisions on the development of socio-economic systems and management of economic entities. PLO 4. Develop socio-economic projects and a system of all-inclusive actions for their implementation, taking into account the goals, expected socio-economic outcomes, risks, legislative, resource, and other constraints. PLO 7. Select effective methods for managing economic activity, ground proposed solutions based on relevant data and scientific and applied research. PLO 8. Collect, process, and analyze statistical data, scientific and analytical materials needed for solving complex political and economic problems. PLO 9. Make effective decisions under conditions of uncertainty and challenges that require the use of new approaches, methods, and tools of socio-economic, political, and economic research.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
- to know: the basic principles of the functioning of the economy at the micro- and macro-level; basics of mathematics for economists and probability theory; principles of academic integrity; - be able to: calculate economic indicators, process statistical data, analyze; primary information; - to have: skills in using Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office Excel; Eviews; build simple econometric models.
Course content
The program of the academic discipline consists of the following content modules: 1. Generalization of the multiple regression model. The module covers construction and analysis, multiple regression, distributed lag models, and time series econometrics. 2. Models of microeconometrics and models for panel data. The module examines the estimation and application of discrete and limited dependent variable models and regression models for panel data.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Information-traditional with elements of problem-oriented learning: lectures, practical classes, cases, control work, independent analytical work (project)
Assessment methods and criteria
Student evaluation forms: (max. 60 points / min. 36 points) - semester assessment: 1. Calculation tasks (RN 1.1.-1.2.; 2.1-2.5) (Min. - 12 points, Max. - 20 points). 2. Modular control papers (RN 1.1.; 2.1-2.3) (Min. – 12 points, Max. – 10 points). 3. Implementation of the project (RN 1.1.-1.2., 2.2.-2.5., 3.1., 4.1.) (Min. - 12 points, Max. - 30 points). - final evaluation in the form of an exam (RN 1.1; 2.1-2.5) – 40 points. A student is not allowed to take the exam if he received less than 36 points during the semester. If the student's grade on the exam is lower than the minimum threshold level (24 points), then the points for the exam are not added to the semester grade (they are considered equal to zero), and the final grade in the discipline is unsatisfactory.
