Learning outcomes
PL02. Understand the place and importance of accounting, analytical, control, tax and statistical systems in the information support of users of accounting and analytical information in solving problems in the field of social, economic and environmental responsibility of enterprises. PL13. Understand the peculiarities of the functioning of enterprises in modern economic conditions and demonstrate understanding of their market PL15. Possess general scientific and special methods of research of socio-economic phenomena and economic processes at the enterprise.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the courses "Economic Theory", "Higher Mathematics for Economists", "Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics for Economists", "Macroeconomics", "Modern Information Technologies in Economics".
2. Know: theoretical and methodological foundations of macro- and microeconomics.
3. Have the skills to use software for data processing and visualization. In turn, knowledge of this discipline contributes to the successful completion of term papers.
Course content
The curriculum consists of two content modules: module 1 "Descriptive Statistics", which examines statistical methods of collection, registration of mass data, their primary processing: systematization and grouping, generalization and comparison using average, absolute and relative values, as well as methods evaluation and analysis of variation, differentiation, concentration and comparison of structures in time and space; Module 2 "Analytical Statistics", which reveals methods for testing statistical hypotheses about the characteristics of the sample, the conformity of the empirical distribution to the theoretical, the significance of differences between means and fractions in comparable sets, as well as variances, randomness of the relationship between traits; methods of analysis of development trends and seasonal fluctuations, index analysis.

Assessment methods and criteria
Development in a small group and defense of the project of statistical survey, performance of practical exercises, calculation tasks, problem solving, protection of individual calculation - analytical task, modular control work.
