‘Tourismology’ is a discipline of theoretical and methodological content, aimed at theoretical generalisations of the achievements of related sciences that have tourism and recreation as the object of research and practice of tourism activities in order to predict the directions of tourism and recreation development on a scientific basis. on a scientific basis. By its very nature, it is interdisciplinary, which involves mastering the knowledge and analytical skills provided at the first (bachelor's) level of higher education in this speciality and in master's level disciplines Sustainable Tourism Management/. Sustainable Tourism Management, Quality management of tourism services’ and “Quality management of tourism services”.
Course content
The discipline ‘Tourismology’ is focused on: - Formation of skills of theoretical generalisation of knowledge from related sciences and tourism practice for the development of a scientific approach to the analysis and forecasting the development of tourism and recreation at all levels of management; - Research of theoretical and methodological foundations for forecasting the development of of tourism and recreation in the world and in Ukraine on the basis of sustainability; - Providing knowledge of the theoretical foundations and methodology of tourism research as a social phenomenon.
