Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the disciplines "Fundamentals of tourism", "Geography of tourism", "Tourist country studies", "Recreational geography with the basics of recreology", "Organization of excursion services". 2. To be able to find and analyze the necessary information on the subject of the discipline. 3. Possess the skills of analysis, synthesis, situation modeling, creative approach to solving discipline problems
Course content
The methodology and principles are revealed
leisure organization of tourists, features of tourist animation. Accented
attention to: basic concepts and terms; functions and types of animation in
tourism; history of the development of cultural and leisure activities; modern forms
and leisure infrastructure; features of the organization of leisure and animation
technologies at various tourist enterprises; animated
management; principles and methods of organizing animation activities.
Information is provided on the types and technologies of animation organization
programs; methods and algorithms of development, organization and implementation
various tourist animation programs; dramatic and script-
directing basics of cultural and leisure activities; differentiation
animation service for tourists.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, practical work, conversation, work in small groups, presentation, discussion, self-study
Assessment methods and criteria
Classes are held in the form of lectures and practical work. Individual and small group assignments. Based on the results of the work during the semester, there will be a final test in the form of tests and open-ended questions designed to reveal the knowledge and skills acquired during the mastering of the course material. During the semester, blitz surveys and express tests are conducted at lectures and practical works to determine the level of assimilation of relevant knowledge, which ultimately form up to 10% of the grade. Practical work is carried out according to the work curriculum according to the provided schedule. Part of the practical classes involves consolidating certain skills through the performance of specific works directly in the classroom. These practical works are completed and passed day by day. Each work is evaluated in 2.5 points, which add up to the final 20%.
