Learning outcomes
PLO 02. To understanding and knowledge of basic and clinical biomedical sciences, at a level sufficient to solve professional problems in the field of health care. PLO 07. Assign and analyze additional (mandatory and optional) examination methods (laboratory, functional and/or instrumental) (according to list 4), patients with diseases of organs and body systems for differential diagnosis of diseases (according to list 2). PLO 25. To clearly and unambiguously communicate one`s knowledge, conclusions and arguments on health issues and related issues to specialists and non-specialists.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the academic disciplines “Human anatomy”, "Histology, cytology and embryology",“Physiology”, "Medical biology". 2. Ability to work independently with scientific and scientific-methodical literature. 3. Possession of elementary skills in system analysis of information.
Course content
The discipline program examines the features of embryogenesis, the anatomical and histological structure of the male and female reproductive systems; principles of neuroendocrine regulation and functioning of the reproductive system; modern diagnostic methods and the main types of pathology of the female and male reproductive systems. The histostructure of various organs of the neuroendocrine and reproductive systems under normal conditions and in some types of pathologies is studied.
