PR8. To be able to competently apply the technologies of planting planting material of ornamental plants in open and closed soil.
PR10. To design and organize activities for the cultivation of planting material of decorative grass and flower plants in open and closed soil and to form objects of horticulture in accordance with modern scientific methods and customer requirements.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the basics of botany and plant physiology, decorative qualities of plants, soil characteristics.
2. To be able to identify decorative herbaceous plants, to compose compositions in accordance with color science and volume-spatial composition in the volume determined by the disciplines taught in previous years of study.
3. To have basic skills of working in open and protected soil conditions.
Course content
The educational discipline "Floriculture with the basics of arrangement" is a selective discipline that forms a comprehensive understanding of the structure and principles of the organization of flower farms, varieties of beautifully flowering and decoratively leafy plants in open ground, conditions of soil, water and light supply, nutrition, modern technologies for growing flower production economy.
