Learning outcomes
PR9. To design and organize events for the cultivation of planting material of ornamental woody plants in open and closed soil and to form objects of horticulture in accordance with modern scientific methods and customer requirements. PR10. To design and organize activities for the cultivation of planting material of decorative grass and flower plants in open and closed soil and to form objects of horticulture in accordance with modern scientific methods and customer requirements. PR 17. Present, model and develop projects of greening, horticulture, landscape architecture and environment design using the latest technologies and graphic presentation techniques.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basics of fine arts 2. Know the basics of color science and three-dimensional composition 3. Be able to use computer programs SketchUp, AutoCAD, TwiLight 4. Be able to prepare the graphic part of the landscape design documentation. 5. Be able to perform landscape assessment.
Course content
The course is devoted to the theory and practice of landscape design and introduces students to a set of basic design work, such as information collection, analysis, functional zoning, master plan development, project presentation. The course is based on practical work on the project of landscaping the area in front of the western facade of the Red Building of the University. At the beginning of the course the basic standards and norms that regulate the work on the project of improvement of historical territories are considered, attention is paid to the normative base of designing places of modern urban development. In addition to acquiring new knowledge and skills, students deepen the already acquired knowledge and skills in creating project documentation, using AutoCAD, SketchUp and TwiLight in project work, using graphic arts.

PH 1.2, 2.2, 3.1 - 30 points / 15 points 3. Presentation of the 3rd stage of the project. PH 1.2, 2.2, 3.1 - 40 points / 20 points 4. Presentation of the 4th stage of the project (defense of the project). PH 1.2, 2.2, 3.1 - 20 points / 10 points Semester control: in the form of a test
