            Course content

An important place is given to the differences in the structure of cells of eukaryotic and prokaryotic types, as well as differences between the domains of Eubactius and Archaea. Much attention is paid to aspects of the synthesis of vital components of the bacterial cell and understanding the inhibition of their synthesis in order to inactivate the vital functions of the cell.
The study of the ultrastructure of prokaryotic cells is necessary and relevant for understanding their metabolism, use in industry, medicine, agriculture, biotechnology, as well as for the development of effective means of combating bacterial infections.
