Learning outcomes
PR03. Plan, execute, analyze paws and present the results of experimental research in the field of biology. PR07. Have the techniques of self-education and self-improvement. Be able to design the trajectory of professional growth and personal development, applying the acquired knowledge. PR08. Know and understand the basic terms, concepts, theories and laws in the field of biological sciences and on the borders of subject areas. PR10. Know the basics of taxonomy, methods of detection and identification of non-cellular forms of rye, prokaryotes and eukaryotes and use them to solve specific biological problems. PR12. Demonstrate knowledge of the structure, vital processes and functions of living organisms, understand the mechanisms of regulation of physiological functions to maintain homeostasis of biological systems.

Course content
The discipline "Botany" deals with algae, higher plants and fungi as an object of activity of a wide range of biologists. The subject of the discipline is the concepts, principles and methods, classification systems and theories in the field of algology, mycology, botany of higher plants. In the course of studying the discipline the practical application and significance of certain methods, concepts and systems in the field of spiders and in other spheres of social activity (agriculture, biotechnology, search of new plant resources, production of raw materials, plant safety, life safety, nature protection, sustainable models development of nature and society, education, etc.).
