Learning outcomes
Achievement by students of such competencies, in particular: the ability to think abstractly, analyze and synthesize information and knowledge on the doctrine and practice of private international law; the ability to adapt and act in a new situation related to private international law; the ability to generate new ideas (creativity) in the study of the subject matter of the discipline (GC 6); the ability to make informed decisions in the field of private international law; the ability to use modern legal doctrines and principles in lawmaking

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the basic concepts of private international law, peculiarities of application of conflict of laws and substantive methods in private international law, literary sources, international and national acts regulating private international relations, as well as law enforcement practice. 2. Be able to evaluate and define the role and tasks of a lawyer who provides advice in the field of private international law, drafts documents that allow the exercise of the rights and obligations of participants in international private relations. 3. Possess basic skills in the preparation of legal documents, taking into account the peculiarities of the practical situation and using legal methods to resolve disputes arising in the field of international private relations.

Форми викладання та методи навчання цієї дисципліни спрямовані на проведення правового аналізу сучасних проблем міжнародного приватного права, та вивчення теоретичних і практичних питань, які можуть виникати у зв’язку з виникненням, зміною чи припиненням міжнародних приватних відносин.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, self-study work of the graduate student on the basis of textbooks, abstracts, methodical recommendations, consultations with the teacher.
Assessment methods and criteria
The following are subject to evaluation: the level of knowledge demonstrated in the answer; activity in discussing issues; systematic work in the classroom; results of homework. Students can make up for seminar classes missed for valid reasons during extracurricular time (teacher's consultation time) by oral questioning, testing, and preparing a research report. A student who has not reached the minimum threshold level of assessment (24 points) of those learning outcomes that cannot be assessed during the final control may not be allowed to take the final assessment. The final assessment of student knowledge takes place during the test (maximum score - 60).
