Students' achievement of such competencies, skills and abilities as: ability to conduct research on civil law issues at the appropriate level; ability to adapt legal documents to new situations in the field of civil law; ability to justify and motivate legal decisions, give detailed legal arguments on various issues of civil law

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the literature on legal techniques, acts of civil law governing civil relations and the practice of resolving civil disputes; Be able to assess and give a legal description of individual civil relations; Have basic skills in drafting lawsuits, claims, applications to international commercial arbitration and other documents, taking into account the specifics of the practical situation and using legal methods to resolve various disputes.
Course content
Forms of teaching and teaching methods of this discipline are aimed at conducting a legal analysis of civil law. The course of the discipline involves in-depth study by students of current civil law of Ukraine, judicial practice, literature on legal techniques, basic concepts and special terminology.

Lectures, seminars, self-study work of the student on the basis of textbooks, abstracts, methodical recommendations, consultations with the teacher
Assessment methods and criteria
At seminars ongoing performance evaluation of the student's knowledge of the discipline includes: reports (speeches on a given topic) - from 10 to 15 points; supplement to the report - from 5 to 7 points; case resolution - from 5 to 8 points; abstract - from 4 to 10 points. The following are subject to assessment: the level of knowledge demonstrated in the response; activity in discussing issues; systematic work in the classroom; homework results. Missing for good reason seminars students can work in extracurricular time (during the teacher's consultations) through oral interviews, testing, preparation of scientific reports. A student who has not reached the minimum threshold level of assessment (24 points) of those learning outcomes that cannot be assessed during the final control may be excluded from the final assessment. The final assessment of the student's knowledge takes place during the written test (maximum score - 60).
