PLO10. Collect and systematize linguistic, literary, folklore facts, interpret and translate texts of different styles and genres into Crimean Tatar, English and Turkish.

During the translation practice in the distance form, master's students should
Acquire professional skills and abilities to solve problems independently in the following areas:
1.2. Avoid calquing from Ukrainian/Russian when translating historical realities of Crimea from the Crimean Tatar language.
1.3. Avoid communication failures when translating interviews and reports online; take into account possible technical online; take into account possible technical problems with the appropriate communication.
1.4. Be able to process cartographic data when translating texts with place names Crimea (from Crimean Tatar into Ukrainian).
1.5. To be able to find adequate equivalents for the translation of the names of household products, artifacts, using electronic and printed sources.

1.6. Be able to maintain the appropriate sentence structure when translating subtitles for video materials.
Course content
In distance/mixed learning, the structure and content of translation practice are optimized to preserve the key strategies of translation skills:
1) transitive strategy - maximum preservation of the formal characteristics of the original idiom.
2) adaptive strategy - focus on adapting the text to foreign cultural and linguistic conditions, which involves linguistic, cultural, genre, and age specifics of adaptation.
The individual work plan includes six types of tasks. Two of them are for the full-time form, four for the distance form.
The areas of translation envisaged by this practice are as follows:
1) written translation - linguistic and country studies, scientific, fiction, media;
2) interpretation - artistic/journalistic (reportage as a genre).
The course lasts 6 weeks (according to the curriculum of the Educational and Research Institute of Philology).

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Carrying out various types of translation, annotation, abstracting and editing, consulting with the responsible persons assigned to the student intern at the online practice sites.
Assessment methods and criteria
The system of current, substantive, and final control in translation practice consists of four content parts (45 hours). The results of students' practical activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale.
Types of work:
1. Fulfillment of orders, instructions and guidelines of the supervisors of the internship: 1 - 10 points.
2. Compliance with internal regulations without practice: 1 - 10 points.
3. Feedback from the institution where the translation internship took place: 1 - 10 points.
4. Work diary: 1 - 10 points.
5. The translation itself: 1 - 20 points.
6. Glossary: 1 - 20 points.
7. Written report of the student in writing, which should indicate the timing of the internship, the place of completion and the scope of the tasks performed: 1 - 10 points.
8. Defense of reporting materials: 1 - 10 points.
