Learning outcomes
PLO22.2 Perform interpretation and translation to provide sector-specific translation from Turkish into Ukrainian and vice versa in various professional fields. PLO23.2 Perform interpretation and translation to provide translation from the Crimean Tatar language into Ukrainian and vice versa in various fields and industries. PLO24.2 Conduct interpretation and translation to provide translation from Crimean Tatar into Ukrainian and vice versa during conferences of various professional orientations. PLO25.2 Analyze and apply the linguistic means necessary to provide lexical and stylistic analysis of texts in the ancient Crimean Tatar language. Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know: - the main provisions of psychology and methods of teaching foreign languages; - the main categories of the scientific apparatus of psychology and teaching methods. Be able to: - use basic and professionally oriented knowledge of the basics of philology, history, sociology and cultural studies; - apply the acquired knowledge in practice. Possess basic skills: - cognitive and professional activity; - culture of thinking, its general laws.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to form theoretical knowledge of higher education students on the methodology of teaching a foreign language as a branch of pedagogical science, to study modern principles of organizing the educational process in the training of future teachers, patterns and features of the Turkish language teaching process, goals, content, methods and means of teaching; to develop skills in conducting methodologically correct classes in teaching Turkish, as well as methods, techniques and means of teaching a foreign language. The content of this discipline, firstly, provides future specialists with knowledge about the strategic directions of development of modern higher foreign language education, modern methods and technologies of teaching a foreign language, secondly, encourages higher education students to be creative in the process of theoretical and practical study, and thirdly, makes it possible to expand the field of activity of future Turkish language teachers by applying the acquired knowledge and skills.

Work in practical classes (oral response, work with text corpora, essays, reports), creative and research tasks
Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, an assessment of theoretical training, which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and an assessment of practical training, which accounts for 60% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: 1. Work in practical classes: 10 - 30 points. 2. Creative and research tasks: 20 - 30 points. 3. Module tests №1 and №2: 8 - 10 points. 4. Final control work: 14 - 20 points
