Learning outcomes
PLO 4. Understand the fundamental principles of human, nature and society genesis. PLO 5. Prerequisites and co-requisites
The educational program is designed for students who have successfully mastered school courses in geography and world history and have a proficiency level in Spanish at B1.
Course content
The academic discipline "Regional Studies (Third Language -- Spanish)" is taught in the 8th semester of the bachelor's program, according to the curriculum. The course aims to study contemporary realities and the history of Spanish-speaking society, as well as to develop students' linguistic-cultural and linguistic-communicative competence. The teaching is based on a methodological complex that takes into account the selection of educational material from geography, cultural studies, and the history of Spain, with special attention given to realia words and communicative behavior of communicants.

Assessment methods and criteria
Current assessment includes oral responses, contributions, participation in discussions, and module exams. The final evaluation is an exam. Detailed criteria for assessment for each form of control are outlined in the course program.
