Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the course Chinese language: basic level; 2. Knowledge of theoretical and practical foundations of the course "Chinese language: basic level"; 3. Mastery of lexical and grammatical models and constructions, mastery of vocabulary that meets the requirements of the program "Chinese language: basic level". 4. Ability to use Chinese fluently, flexibly and effectively in oral and written form, in different genres and styles and registers of communication (formal, informal, neutral), to solve communicative tasks in various spheres of life and the basic level of language and speech training.
Course content
The aim of the course is to teach students to use Chinese (in oral and written forms) at the everyday and general level, to translate from Chinese and to Chinese, to teach grammatical and lexicological models and constructions, to teach to use Chinese at the appropriate level of language training. This course includes practical tasks that will help students understand dialogic and monologue oral speech, read and understand Chinese written speech, develop written hieroglyphic skills, conduct conversations on everyday and general topics, make oral and written translation. The discipline "Chinese language: intermediate level" is one of the obligatory components of the complex discipline "Practical course of Chinese language and history of language", Part 2, specialty "Philology (Eastern languages ​​and literatures (translation included)), major - Chinese" of the educational program "Chinese language and literature and translation, English language".

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Training activities during the semester: practical classes conducted with the use of interactive teaching methods, and individual work. The main types of activities and, accordingly, the objects of semester control are: answers during practical classes, oral interviews, written works, tests with open answers, project works, oral presentations, final test. Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the mastered material, including theoretical training, which is 40% of the total assessment, and practical training, which is 60% of the total assessment. The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student for classroom activities and for individual work. The minimum score for the semester is 36 points, while the maximum score equals 60. Final assessment: the exam, which is conducted in the form of written work, which is evaluated with a maximum of 30 points, as well as the oral part in the form of substantiation of one's own opinion and is evaluated with a maximum of 10 points. Criteria for semester and exam assessment are presented in the work program of the discipline, published on the official website of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology.
