Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the features of the community and its development strategy; theoretical foundations of social work in the community; features of community resource provision; basic principles of legal regulation of social work in the community; basic methods of assessing changes in the community;
2. Be able to: use the acquired theoretical knowledge and apply it in practical work; select tools to determine the problem-needs field of community members; identify the necessary social services for community members; develop social projects and monitor and evaluate them; evaluate the results of their own activities and make a forecast for the future
Course content
The purpose of teaching the discipline is to prepare future social workers for the organization of social work in the community and students to master the methods of assessing social change in the community. The educational program is designed to acquaint students with the basic methods and their features of application to assess social change in the community, as well as apply them in practice. The planning and development of any program, in particular community programs, is a process that includes needs analysis, selection of appropriate content and methods of program implementation, program implementation management, and evaluation processes of program effectiveness and results, which in turn provide monitoring and evaluation of progress, as well as the most efficient use of resources. That is why the study of methods for assessing social change in the community is an important point in the acquisition of future social workers knowledge, skills and abilities of social work in the community.

Assessment methods and criteria
The order of organization of assessment is carried out during the semester during the performance of students:
1. Creative and reproductive tasks for independent work - up to 10 points for each
2. Preparation of reports and abstracts - up to 10 points for each
3. Modular test - up to 20 points
- final assessment in the form of an exam - up to 40 points
Based on the results of the semester, the student receives a final grade on a 100-point system, which is calculated as the accumulated grades for the module in the semester and grades for the test according to the following formula: Content module (30-60 points) + Comprehensive final module 40 points) = Total (final score) (36 - 100 points)
