Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basic concepts and concepts of innovation theory; regularities of the innovation process; algorithm of social innovation; basic methods of preparation and implementation of social innovations; the concept of innovation process and its features in the social sphere; stages and methods of implementation of the innovation process; features of state regulation of innovation
2. Be able to operate with the basic terms and concepts of social innovation; carry out analytical work to assess the feasibility of innovation; evaluate the effectiveness of innovation activities; use a variety of creative techniques to generate problem-solving ideas; use methods of evaluation, selection, planning, implementation and implementation of innovative ideas; to practice various organizational models of innovation implementation in the social sphere; have the skills to use in professional activities the methodology of the innovation process.
Course content
The purpose of teaching the discipline is to form ideas about the peculiarities of innovation in the field of social work through the use of methods that ensure the implementation of new approaches in social work, as well as students mastering methodological approaches to justify innovation in the social sphere.
The course considers the theoretical and methodological foundations of innovation in the social sphere, outlines the essence of innovation and the specifics of innovation in social work, presents methods of finding new ideas, different views on the causes of resistance to innovation and methods of overcoming obstacles. Acquaintance of students with the basics of innovation contributes not only to the formation of a proper professional level and readiness to work in this direction, but also the development of personal civic responsibility, social and community activity.communication".

Assessment methods and criteria
The order of organization of assessment is carried out during the semester during the performance of students:
1. Creative and reproductive tasks for independent work - up to 10 points for each
2. Preparation of reports and abstracts - up to 10 points for each
3. Modular test - up to 20 points
- final assessment in the form of a test - up to 40 points
Based on the results of the semester, the student receives a final grade on a 100-point system, which is calculated as the accumulated grades for the module in the semester and grades for the test according to the following formula: Content module (30-60 points) + Comprehensive final module 40 points) = Total (final score) (36 - 100 points)
