LO 2. Ability to organize and conduct psychological research using valid and reliable methods. LO 6. Develop educational materials and educational programs, implement them, receive feedback, evaluate quality. LO 7. It is accessible and reasoned to present the results of research in written and ordinary forms, to participate in professional discussions. LO 9. Solve ethical dilemmas based on the rule of law, ethical principles and universal values. LO 10. Summarize the results of their own research in scientific reports of various forms (abstracts, articles, reports, presentations). LO 11. Evaluate achievements and determine and argue the prospects of their own scientific work.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Master the courses "General Psychology", "Social Psychology", "Psychology of Personality" and "Psychology of Development". 2. Know the theoretical foundations of the structure of the psyche, factors and basic mechanisms of personality formation. 3. Know the anatomy and physiology of the CNS. 4. Understand the basics of psychopharmacology.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to form an understanding of the content and structure of altered states of consciousness, to learn to distinguish the advantages and disadvantages of altered states of consciousness, to distinguish safe and dangerous altered states of consciousness, to understand their potential and possibilities in everyday life.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral reports, discussion, presentation, final test, exam. Semester assessment: answers to seminars, independent work are evaluated. The grade is formed as the sum of all points earned during the semester. Oral answer - from 18 to 25 points. Additions - from 6 to 15 points. Independent individual work - from 24 to 40 points. Final test - from 12 to 20 points. Final control: exam.
