Learning outcomes
The student must know: methods of construction of normal forms of representation of Boolean functions and their minimization; principles of operation of electronic components; main series, production technologies of logical digital ICs, their parameters and characteristics, applications; computerized means of modeling nodes of computer systems; algorithms for building combinational schemes according to the forms of representation at the level of a student of the 4- year of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
The educational discipline "Interfaces of data exchange systems" is based on the cycle of disciplines of professional and practical bachelor's training, namely: "Discrete mathematics", "Computer electronics", "Computer circuitry", "Applied theory of digital automata".
Course content
1. General characteristics of hardware interfaces of computer systems. 2. Standardization of automation tools. 3. Principles of organization of interfaces. 4. Principles of input-output of digital information. 5. Computer system interfaces. 6. Connection devices with system interfaces. 7. Connection of synchronization and reference systems. 8. Interfaces for connecting ADC and DAC. 9. Hardware of data collection systems. 10. Interfaces for programmable devices (IEEE-488, HS-488, LXI). 11. Standard communication interfaces of a personal computer. 12. Interface for communication between integrated circuits and modules (i2c bus). 13. Single-wire interface 1-Wire. 14. Interfaces of trunk-module systems based on VME, VXI and PXI standards.

Assessment methods and criteria
- semester assessment: control is carried out as follows. The semester has two semantic modules: the content module 1 (MR1) includes topics 1-9, the content module 2 (MR2) includes topics 10-14. The semester evaluation includes the evaluation for taking seminar classes. - final assessment (in the form of credit): credit form - written and oral. The test consists of 2 questions, each question is evaluated from 0 to 20 points. In total, you can get from 0 to 40 points for the test. The condition for achieving a positive grade for the discipline is to obtain at least 60 points, with a score of 2 [skills] and 4 [autonomy and responsibility] can not be less than 50% of the maximum level (15 and 5 points, respectively), grade for the test can not be less than 24 points. - conditions of admission to the test: the condition of admission to the test is the student's receipt of a total of not less than the critical-calculated minimum of 36 points per semester.
