Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) successful mastering of courses taught at the educational and qualification level
"bachelor": "Geography of recreation and tourism", "Tourist local history", "Ukrainian and
foreign culture", educational professional-oriented practices;
2) to know the theoretical foundations of tourism, location of production, population, natural
resource potential of Ukraine;
3) to know modern quantitative and qualitative research methods in tourism, to be able to use them
apply in production and research activities, possess skills
work with cartographic sources, computer programs Microsoft Word, Excel,
PowerPoint and software for using the Internet.
Course content
Theoretical and methodological and
applied issues of rural tourism organization. The current state and location are determined
rural tourism in the tourism industry. The experience of the organization and
functioning of rural tourism in foreign countries. Market features are studied
tourist services in rural areas. Features of management and
marketing of the development of rural tourism in Ukraine. The tourist potential is evaluated
regions of Ukraine in order to develop rural tourism. Successful practices are considered
sustainable development of rural tourism. Problems are identified and prospects are evaluated
development of rural tourism in Ukraine.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Assessment methods and criteria
The level of achievement of all planned learning outcomes is determined by the results of presentations and surveys at seminar classes, after completing the study of the relevant topics, a test is conducted, students perform case tasks. Students who received less than the minimum for the test work
the specified number of points, rearrange it. Before the beginning of the examination session, students must complete a case assignment. The maximum number of points that can be obtained on the exam is 40 points, the minimum number of points that can be added to semester points is 24 (60% of the maximum number of points assigned to the exam).
