Learning outcomes
PLO 1. Communicate freely on professional issues with experts and non- experts in Ukrainian and Swedish, English and third Germanic language, in oral and in written form, use these languages to organize effective cross-cultural communication. PLO 11. Know the principles, technologies and techniques of oral and written texts of different genres and styles creation in Ukrainian, Swedish, English and third Germanic language. PLO 14. Use Swedish, English and third Germanic language in oral and written form, in different genre-stylistic varieties and registers of communication (official, unofficial, neutral), to solve communicative tasks in everyday, social, educational, professional, scientific spheres of life.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastery of the discipline requires: 1. Completion of previous sections of the multi-semester course "Third Germanic Language" and achieving all program learning outcomes at least at a satisfactory level. 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of phonetics, grammar, morphology, and syntax of the Ukrainian language, as well as the ability to draw linguistic parallels and associations. 3. Ability to operate with basic terminology and conceptual apparatus of linguistics. 4. Proficiency in elementary skills of syntactic analysis of sentences. 5. Ability to express one's thoughts logically and coherently, as well as the skill to argue and support one's opinions.
Course content
The discipline "Third Germanic Language" aims to deepen students' existing knowledge and improve their communication skills in Dutch at the B1-B2 level (CEFR). The course allows for the expansion of basic vocabulary and grammar knowledge, enhancing the ability to engage in effective communication and express opinions in both social and academic-professional contexts. An important element of the course is the continuation of reading practice with adapted literary texts, enabling students to improve their skills in linguistic and literary analysis while deepening their lexical-grammatical and socio-cultural knowledge.

Assessment methods and criteria
Current assessment for the discipline "Third Germanic Language" includes responses during practical sessions, checking independent work, and a final control work (test). The final assessment is an exam. Evaluation criteria for each form of assessment are outlined in the course program.
