Learning outcomes
To know:
- Leadership theories and their direct relationship to business practice in the cultural and creative industries, how cultural, structural, and economic contexts influence leadership agents and their leadership style.
Be able to:
- develop an effective approach to leadership by assessing the dynamics of situations and applying it in accordance with organisational strategy develop practical, ethically sound leadership skills in the cultural and creative industries, research, and teaching.
Communication:
- organise and manage the activities of cultural institutions and relevant structural units of enterprises and institutions;
- have the skills to develop and make management decisions in unpredictable work and/or learning contexts.
Autonomy and responsibility:
- skills to organise and manage own professional and leadership development;
- skills to organise and manage the professional and managerial development of individuals and groups in the field of culture.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before studying this course, students should know: the main characteristics of the modern cultural process and context; features of functioning of cultural and creative industries in the country and abroad, general features of the activities of organisations and institutions in the field of cultural and creative industries, the basics of business ethics in the system of organisational culture. The student should be able to: collect and interpret information on the phenomena and phenomena of leadership in the field of culture, organisational behaviour and psychology; have skills in scientific research and information management, use of foreign language professional information sources on leadership, organisational psychology, ethics, sustainable development and gender studies.

2. Understanding traditional and modern - post-heroic approaches to leadership
3. The essence of managerial, strategic and visionary leadership. Independent work No. 1: "Preparing your own case study, aimed at developing practical skills of management and leadership skills".
4. Features of leadership behaviour in projects and cultural and creative industries
5. Leadership in a cross-cultural context
6. Leadership and gender issues
7. Ethical and legal behaviour in leadership
8. The concept of sustainable development and the role of culture in it
9. Leadership development

Assessment methods and criteria
The final score in the discipline (maximum 100 points) is determined as the sum of points for systematic work during the semester, taking into account the final control work.
Assessment of semester work:
1. Self-study: "Preparation of your own case aimed at developing practical skills in management and leadership") - 24/ 40 points
2. Self-study:: "Analysis of leadership style in a specific cultural context and development of recommendations for development" - 24 / 40 points.
The total grade for the semester consists of the points obtained for self-study ("Preparation of your own case aimed at developing practical skills in management and leadership" and "Analysis of leadership style in a specific cultural context and development of recommendations for its development"). All types of work for the semester have
- a maximum of 80 points
- a minimum of 48 points
Final written test - 12 / 20 points
