Learning outcomes
PR01. To know and understand fundamental and applied aspects of environmental sciences. PR12. Be able to assess landscape and biological diversity and analyze the consequences of anthropogenic impact on natural environments. PR17. Critically interpret knowledge from various subject areas to solve theoretical problems and problems. PR20. To have the basics of carrying out environmental studies and ecological expert assessment of the impact on the environment. PR21. Assess the level of biological diversity of biocenoses of natural, anthropogenically modified and artificial ecosystems
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basic principles of organization and functioning of populations, groups and ecosystems. 2. To be able to analyze and interpret the results of environmental studies. 3. Have elementary skills - working with reference literature, working with a PC. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of professional environmental disciplines, as well as such disciplines as "Methodology and environmental protection"
Course content
The teaching of this discipline is aimed at students' theoretical and practical mastery of modern concepts of biodiversity, methods of its measurement. Separate chapters are dedicated to identifying the cause of biodiversity decline and ways to preserve it.
