Learning outcomes
PR5. Apply conceptual knowledge of natural and socio-economic sciences when performing tasks of geodesy and land management.
PR9. Collect, evaluate, interpret and use geospatial data, metadata about objects of natural and man-made origin, apply statistical methods of their analysis to solve specialized problems in the field of geodesy and land management.
PR10. Select and apply the tools, equipment, equipment and software required for remote, terrestrial, field and camera surveys in the field of geodesy and land management.
PR16. Know the theoretical foundations of geodesy, higher and engineering geodesy, topographic and thematic mapping, compilation and updating of maps, remote sensing of the Earth and photogrammetry, land management, real estate evaluation and land cadastre

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Knowledge of land characteristics: types and types of soils, composition and properties of soils, zonal distribution of soils.
2. Knowledge of the specifics of the impact of plants on soil fertility and agricultural crops on land productivity.
3. The ability to identify sources of land pollution based on the materials of remote sensing of the earth, to possess the skills of topographical and thematic decoding of images in the field of land management.
Course content
The goal of the discipline is the formation of basic knowledge on the rational use and protection of land, in particular, economically efficient, ecologically safe and scientifically based use in accordance with the priority of agricultural land, acquiring skills in the protection, reproduction and improvement of soil fertility, promoting the dissemination of knowledge in professional activities.

Assessment methods and criteria
The final grade from the educational component, the final form of control of which is the exam, is defined as the sum of grades (points) for all successfully assessed study results 60 points and the exam 40 points. Scores below the minimum threshold level are not added to the final score.
It is mandatory to receive a positive final grade (60 points and above) to complete all practical work and modular control work.
