Course content
Provision of the philosophical and cultural component of the training of a highly qualified, competitive, integrated into the European and global scientific and educational space specialist with a bachelor's degree, who has acquired theoretical and practical knowledge, skills and abilities sufficient to perform professional duties in the specialty 193 - Geodesy and land management. Formation of students' scientific worldview, aimed at understanding the relationship between foreign and Ukrainian cultures, their specificities. To develop the ability to single out specific cultural and historical events and phenomena, and at the same time to be able to analyze cultural transformations as a whole.

Assessment methods and criteria
Seminar classes are held in the form of oral answers, reports, comments, additions and/or preparation and defense of electronic presentations exclusively on topics, questions and in the sequence determined by the curriculum. The use of demonstration, graphic, schematic images and materials in preparation and work at the seminar is welcome! The teacher who conducts the seminar class creates organizational conditions for the students to work out all the questions presented at the seminar class. Creative work can be presented in the form of an independently made essay, review, feedback. The maximum score is 10 points. The form of work, topics and deadlines are determined by the teacher who works with the group in seminar classes. The assessment is conducted in written form - a test (20 questions with the choice of one correct answer and 10 questions with the establishment of correspondences). The duration of the assessment is 1 academic hour. The maximum score is 20 points.
