PLO 2. Process information effectively: collect relevant information from a variety of sources, including professional literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, organize, classify and systematize it. Collaborate with colleagues, representatives of other cultures and religions, supporters of different political views, etc.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before starting this course, students should know the main stages and characteristics of the socio-political process; 2. To be able to collect and interpret information about the phenomena of politics, socio-political processes and events.
Course content
The course "Socio-Political Studies" belongs to the compulsory courses. The course studies the functioning and development of modern society, politics and power, human interaction with social and political institutions, special characteristics of modern Ukrainian society in a comparative context.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Learning activities: lectures, seminars, individual consultations, independent work of students. Teaching methods: explanatory-illustrative method, method of problem-based learning (problem lecture), heuristic method, analytical intelligence, educational discussion.
Assessment methods and criteria
Current assessment: oral response, test, abstract and analytical review of the source, analytical tasks. Final assessment - credit. Evaluation criteria for each form of control are given in the course program.
