To apply modern methods and technologies, in particular information technology, to successfully and effectively solve complex problems in the field of religious studies, to observe the rules of academic integrity. 11. To develop scientific and applied projects in the field of religious studies, taking into account the goals and limitations, and as well as social, economic and legal aspects. 12. Plan and carry out scientific research in the field of religious studies, choose effective methods and research tools, analyze results, substantiate conclusions.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prerequisites for mastering or choosing an academic discipline: successful mastering of the courses "History of Philosophy", "Theoretical and Practical Philosophy", "Theory cognition", "Philosophy and methodology of science" and knowledge of the theoretical foundations of professional disciplines.
Course content
The concept of science and scientific research. General characteristics of the methodology. Methods of empirical and theoretical research, structure empirical and theoretical knowledge. A set of methodological systems. The system of organization of scientific and cognitive activity. The basic model of the scientific research process. Search and processing of scientific information. Qualification works: preparation, registration and protection. Methods of preparation and design of publications. The concept of academic integrity. Intellectual, creative activity and its place in the socio-economic development of society. Concept, system and sources of intellectual property law. Copyright and related rights. The right of industrial property.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Oral report, additions and participation in discussions at seminars: 20/35 points; 2. Independent work (Presentation of the characteristic features of the scientific field): 13/20 points; 3. Independent work (Analysis of methodological foundations of own bachelor's research): 13/20 points; 4. Test work: 2/5 points. 5. Final test (credit): 12/20 points. The semester number of points (maximum 100) is formed by the points received by the student in the process of learning the material from the entire educational course. The overall grade for the semester consists of points received for classroom work (oral presentations, additions and participation in discussions at seminars), control work and independent work.
