Course content
The subject of the discipline "Modern Ukrainian Language. Syntax" is a section of grammar that studies the laws of functioning of individual word forms and the rules for combining words into phrases, sentences, as well as into complex syntactic formations that are united by grammatical relations, meaning and intonation. The discipline develops the necessary theoretical knowledge of the types of Ukrainian two- and one-part sentences, simple and complex constructions, their formal and communicative organisation; analyses modern approaches to the study of the syntactic system of the modern Ukrainian language, the main components of the text, in particular its compositional and semantic structure, and the means of communication between components. Particular emphasis is placed on the study of syntactic structures that allow you to choose the right speech forms to build correct communicative units.
